Class Reflection 19
A couple things really stood out to me from the film about the Azusa Street Revival. First, I love that it began amongst the poor and the socially ostracized - isn't that just like God? Second, I think we would do well to take note that one of the fruits of the movement was unity - it attracted black, white, Hispanics... Third, the humility of Seyemore was noted again and again by participants in the movement. Forth, we hear the willingness of the people to engage not just their minds, but their spirits. It seems like some of these things are things that attract the Spirit of God, and are markers of people who are willing to join with Him in His Mission. Yeah!
